Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") explain how you may use শিকà§à¦·à¦¾à¦à§‚মি ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, joining live classes, buying courses, or using any part of the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
This is a general information document and does not constitute legal advice. For specific legal questions, please consult a lawyer.
1. Who we serve
The Platform connects students and teachers for online learning. It offers live classes, recorded courses, notes, assignments, and live exams, as well as tools for teachers to manage their classes and earnings. We may update features at any time to improve the learning experience.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Keep your login details confidential and do not share them.
- If you are under the minimum age required by your local law to consent to online services, you must have permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
- We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, our policies, or applicable law.
3. Student responsibilities
- Use the Platform only for personal learning and exam preparation.
- Do not share course content, live class recordings, notes, assignments, or exam questions with others without written permission from the teacher or rights holder.
- Do not try to bypass piracy protections, screen‑record classes, or distribute paid content for free or for money.
- Behave respectfully in live classes, chat, and community spaces. Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from classes or the Platform.
- Follow any additional rules set by your teacher for their course or live exam.
4. Teacher responsibilities
- Only upload or stream content that you own or are authorized to use. Do not upload copyrighted material (books, videos, courses, mock tests, etc.) without proper rights.
- Maintain professional behavior with students in live classes, messages, and assignments.
- Clearly describe your course content, schedule, and requirements so students understand what they are purchasing.
- Respect students' privacy and do not use their personal information outside the Platform.
- Follow local laws, exam rules, and institutional policies that apply to your teaching.
5. Courses, live classes, notes, and exams
The Platform provides different learning formats: recorded courses, scheduled live classes, notes, assignments, and live exams. While we aim for a stable and high‑quality experience, we cannot guarantee that classes or exams will always happen exactly as scheduled.
- Live classes and exams may be rescheduled or adjusted for technical or personal reasons (for example, internet issues, platform maintenance, or teacher emergencies).
- Access to course content is typically limited to the duration stated on the course page. We may remove or update content for quality, legal, or operational reasons.
- The Platform is a learning support tool. We do not promise specific grades, exam results, admissions, or job outcomes.
6. Payments, pricing, and refunds
- Prices for courses, live classes, and subscriptions are shown before you complete a purchase and may change from time to time.
- To encourage learning and support sales, the Platform may offer promotions, coupons, or discounts from time to time. These offers may have specific conditions (such as validity dates, usage limits, or eligible courses) and can be changed or withdrawn at our discretion.
- You agree to pay all fees and applicable taxes for purchases made through your account using the available payment methods.
- Access to content is usually granted only after successful payment. Pending or failed payments may limit or block access.
- Our refund or cancellation rules (if any) are described on the payment page or in a separate refund policy. Where refunds are not mentioned, all purchases are generally considered final unless required by law.
7. Content ownership and piracy protection
All courses, live classes, recordings, notes, assignments, exam questions, and other educational materials on the Platform are protected by copyright and related laws.
- Students receive a limited, personal, non‑transferable license to view the content they purchase during the access period. This does not grant any right to copy, resell, publicly share, or redistribute the content.
- Teachers retain ownership of their original content but grant the Platform a license to host, stream, and deliver that content to enrolled students.
- We may use technical measures (such as watermarking, streaming protections, and monitoring tools) to reduce piracy. Attempting to bypass these measures is strictly prohibited.
8. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not use the Platform to:
- Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, or abusive.
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against others based on race, religion, gender, or any other protected characteristic.
- Spread exam leaks, answer keys, or engage in cheating or academic dishonesty.
- Attempt to hack, reverse‑engineer, or disrupt our systems or live streaming infrastructure.
- Use bots, scripts, or automation that overload or interfere with the Platform.
9. Live streaming and third‑party services
The Platform may use third‑party services (for example, live streaming and video infrastructure providers) to deliver classes and recordings. By using live classes, you also agree to the terms and policies of these providers where applicable.
- Network quality, device performance, and third‑party platform status can affect your live class experience.
- We are not responsible for outages, failures, or data loss caused by third‑party services outside our reasonable control.
10. Privacy and data
We collect and process personal data to operate the Platform, provide support, improve our services, and meet legal obligations. Details about what data we collect and how we use it are described in our separate Privacy Policy.
By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy and any in‑product privacy notices.
11. Changes to the Platform and these Terms
- We may update or remove features, courses, or pricing to improve the Platform or comply with laws and policies.
- We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date and, where required, give you notice through the Platform or by other means.
- Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- The Platform and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or always available.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, income, or profits, arising from your use of the Platform.
- Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Contact and support
If you have questions about these Terms, your account, or any course or live class, please contact us through the support or contact options provided on the Platform.
